During our East Coast Road Trip in June, we managed to knock off another item off our Summer Bucket List and that was to visit a state park. We visited Jones Beach State Park in New York. It started off as a cold and dreary day, but eventually the sun came out and warmed us up on the empty beach. It was a fun and relaxing day of playing in the sand, catching up with family, and for the brave ones, a little bit of splashing in the cold waters of the Atlantic.
It's a Messy Life 
So fun! I’ve never been to the beach on the East Coast. Been to NY a few times but never made it. I’ll have to put it on my list too 🙂 Everyone is clothed, is it really that much cooler?

It was just cooler because it was early June and there was stormy weather while we were there. For the most part, summers are hot & humid on the east coast!
